Questions about the CBC Award

The editors of Cetacean Societies have the following responses to questions about the CBC Award.

1. If my research is in conjunction with a zoo, aquarium, governmental program or non-traditional venue (esp third world), can I qualify?
   • Yes, we would say so.

2. At what point in the process must I be a member of ABS/ASAB? (at application? decision?)
   • Application

3. If I have APPLIED for other funding resources, should this be reported?
   • We don't think it matters.

4. Does my list of other funding sources count against the 1500 word limit?
   • No

5. Can I submit electronically?

   • Yes - see the Application Form Make sure all electronic communications include a valid return e-mail address for confirmation purposes.

6. Is an email reference "letter" acceptable?
